Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section fifty-nine of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws, no examination for the title of lieutenant in the fire department of the city of Holyoke shall be open to a private on such force until such person has been employed as a private for at least three years after certification.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
