CHAPTER 177 AN ACT EXEMPTING PETER KOLSON, A CITY COUNCILLOR IN THE CITY OF QUINCY, FROM A CERTAIN PROVISION OF LAW GOVERNING THE CONDUCT OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty of chapter two hundred and sixty-eight A of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, Peter Kolson, an employee of the Quincy housing authority, shall not be prohibited from holding his elected position as a city councillor in the city of Quincy and receiving compensation for his housing authority duties and for his duties as a city councillor in said city of Quincy.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
