Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Auburn is hereby authorized to add the snow removal deficit for fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-three in the amount of one hundred and sixty-three thousand dollars to the nineteen hundred and ninety-four property tax levy as an additional amount to be raised beyond that certified by the department of revenue and shall not be carried over to any fiscal year subsequent to fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-four.
