CHAPTER 213 AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE ON INTERSTATE 190 AT THE HOLDEN AND WEST BOYLSTON TOWN LINE AS THE LANCE CORPORAL MICHAEL F. FANNING MEMORIAL BRIDGE.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately designate a certain bridge at the Holden and West Boylston town line as the Lance Corporal Michael F. Fanning Memorial Bridge, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The bridge located on Interstate Route 190 northbound over the Quinapoxet river at the Holden and West Boylston town line shall be designated and known as the Lance Corporal Michael F. Fanning Memorial Bridge. The department of highways shall erect and maintain suitable markers on said bridge bearing such designation in compliance with the standards of said department.

Approved November 4, 1993.
