CHAPTER 282 AN ACT RELATIVE TO DISCRIMINATION AGAINST STUDENTS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS ON THE BASIS OF SEXUAL ORIENTATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 5 of chapter 76 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1992 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- No person shall be excluded from or discriminated against in admission to a public school of any town, or in obtaining the advantages, privileges and courses of study of such public school on account of race, color, sex, religion, national origin or sexual orientation.
