Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section twelve of chapter forty-three C of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, in addition to the five members provided by said section forty-three C the community development board of the city of Pittsfield shall include two additional members to serve as associate members. Said associate members shall be appointed by the mayor for two year terms which shall overlap.

The chairperson of said community development board may designate one or both associate members to sit on said board for the purpose of acting on special permit applications, subdivision approvals, site plan reviews, approval of issuance of industrial revenue bonds, rezonings, urban renewal plans, chapter one hundred and twenty-one A tax agreements, and any other matters which come before said board in the case of absence, inability to act, vacancy, or conflict of interest on the part of any one or two members of said board.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
