CHAPTER 294 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF BROOKLINE TO LEASE THE KENNARD HOUSE FOR A TERM OF NOT MORE THAN TWENTY YEARS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the board of selectmen and the school committee of the town of Brookline may, by a majority vote of said board and said school committee, let or lease, for not more than twenty years, the property known as the Kennard House, upon such terms and conditions as they deem necessary or desirable, to the Brookline Music School, a nonprofit Massachusetts corporation.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
