Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 7 of chapter 268A of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

This section shall not preclude an officer or employee of the Massachusetts Port Authority from eligibility for any residential sound insulation program administered by said Authority, provided that any such officer or employee has no responsibility for the administration of said program.

SECTION 2. The first paragraph of section 23 of chapter 465 of the acts of 1956, as amended by chapter 328 of the acts of 1960, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "both", in line 7, the following words:- ; provided, however, that this paragraph shall not preclude an officer or employee of the Authority from eligibility for any residential sound insulation program administered by the Authority, if said officer or employee has no responsibility for the administration of said program.
