Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 1 through 28 of chapter 32 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the State-Boston retirement system shall pay to Marie Lariviere, a secretary in the commission on affairs of the elderly of the city of Boston who upon appointment to that position on October twenty-eighth, nineteen hundred and seventy was over sixty-five years in age and therefore ineligible for membership in the State-Boston retirement system, an annual pension of three thousand six hundred dollars for as long as she shall live, said pension to be payable from the day following said Marie Lariviere's termination of employment with the city of Boston.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
