CHAPTER 356 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE EXPENDITURE OF CERTAIN SURPLUS BOND PROCEEDS BY THE TOWN OF ROCKLAND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter forty-four of the General Laws, the town of Rockland is hereby authorized to appropriate to reduce its tax levy for the fiscal year beginning July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-three the sum of four thousand three hundred and eighty-nine dollars from the balance of bond proceeds of bonds issued in nineteen hundred and seventy-four and nineteen hundred and seventy-nine.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
