Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section eight of chapter fifty-eight of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the commissioner of revenue is hereby authorized to act upon a certain request by the board of assessors in the city of Springfield to abate all real estate taxes, interest and charges of the fiscal years nineteen hundred and eighty-three to nineteen hundred and eighty-eight, inclusive, not to exceed two thousand eight hundred ten dollars and forty-two cents, arising out of the payments of said taxes by Zofia and Antoni Skrodzki to the city of Springfield. The board of assessors in the city of Springfield is hereby authorized to grant such abatement in said amount regarding the property located at 40 Briggs street in said Springfield.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
