Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The first paragraph of section 3 of chapter 26 of the acts of 1927 is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence, as amended by section 1 of chapter 66 of the acts of 1993, and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- Any representative town meeting held under the provisions of this act, except as otherwise provided herein, shall be limited to the voters elected under section two, with the following designated as town meeting members at large; namely, any member of the general court of the commonwealth from the town, the selectmen, the moderator, the town clerk, the chairman of the trustees of the public library, the chairman of the planning board, the chairman of the school committee, the chairman of the board of assessors, the chairman of the board of health, the chairman of the board of public works and the chairman of the finance committee.
