Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The first paragraph of section 65 of chapter 171 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1992 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- In making loans on real estate, as specified, a credit union shall also be subject to the condition that each loan shall be on real estate situated within the commonwealth or within a radius of one hundred miles of the main office of the credit union without regard to geographical location.
