Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The county of Nantucket is hereby authorized to convey the Creek's Shore reservation, Creek's parking lot, Smith Point reservation and Surfside parking lot to the town of Nantucket, exclusive of public ways and bike paths owned by said county.

SECTION 2. The provisions of chapter thirty B of the General Laws and any rights of first refusal in the commonwealth under the provisions of section fourteen of chapter thirty-four of the General Laws shall not be applicable to any conveyance authorized by this act.

SECTION 3. A majority of the voters at an annual or special town meeting shall approve any and all transfers authorized hereby, prior to such conveyances taking effect.

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
