CHAPTER 48 AN ACT RELATIVE TO CERTAIN CONSERVATION LAND IN THE TOWN OF HOLLISTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Holliston is hereby authorized to use two certain parcels of land located in said town for the purposes of active and passive recreation. Said parcels are presently under the care, custody and control of the Holliston conservation commission held for the purpose of promoting and developing material resources and protecting watershed resources under the provisions of section eight C of chapter forty of the General Laws. Such active and passive recreational purposes shall be in addition to the aforementioned purposes.

Said parcels are described as follows: Parcel one is described in a deed dated September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred and fifty-seven recorded in the Middlesex county registry of deeds southern district Book 9056, Page 121. Parcel two is described in a document entitled "Town of Holliston, Order of Taking" dated September twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and seventy-five recorded in said Middlesex county registry of deeds southern district in book 12869, page 392.
