CHAPTER 485 AN ACT RELATIVE TO INSTITUTIONAL MASTER PLANNING IN THE CITY OF SALEM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section three of chapter forty A of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the city of Salem is hereby authorized to enact an ordinance relative to institutional master planning.

SECTION 2. The city of Salem is hereby authorized to require that any use of land or structures for educational, health care or other institutional purposes shall be in conformity with such an institutional master plan for future development that has been filed by said institution with said city of Salem.
