CHAPTER 83 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN SELECTMEN POSITIONS IN THE TOWN OF GREAT BARRINGTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred and eight of chapter forty-one of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the salaries of the two additional elected selectmen positions created by section two of chapter one hundred and eighty-four of the acts of nineteen hundred and ninety-two are hereby fixed, from the date each took office for the balance of the fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-three, in the amount of three thousand and eighty-two dollars each, and the vote of the town meeting appropriating six thousand one hundred and sixty-four dollars for that purpose is hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if this act had been in full force and effect in the town at the time of said meeting.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
