Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 17 of Part 3 of chapter 403 of the acts of 1971 is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- The school committee shall have the powers, duties, responsibilities and functions vested in school committees by the laws of the commonwealth, and as delegated to it by the town which are not inconsistent with the laws of the commonwealth.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its acceptance by the town of Needham.
