CHAPTER 223 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF ANDOVER TO CONVEY A CERTAIN PARCEL OF CONSERVATION LAND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Andover, acting by and through its board of selectmen, is hereby authorized to convey a certain parcel of conservation land, presently under the care and control of the conservation commission of said town to William and Eileen Walsh of said town of Andover. Said parcel is shown as Parcel Y on a plan of land entitled "Plan of Land in Andover, Mass. showing proposed land transfer between William & Eileen Walsh and the Town of Andover" dated February 29, 1996 drawn by Merrimack Engineering Services which is on file in the office of the town clerk.

SECTION 2. In consideration of the conveyance authorized in section one, William and Eileen Walsh shall convey a certain parcel of land to the town of Andover to be used for conservation purposes in the care, custody and control of the conservation commission. Said parcel is shown as Parcel X on the plan described in section one. As further consideration, William and Eileen Walsh shall convey to said town of Andover a drainage easement for maintenance and upkeep of the existing drainlines, as shown on said plan.
