CHAPTER 229 AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION OF PLAQUES HONORING VETERANS IN THE STATE HOUSE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The superintendent of state office buildings is hereby authorized and directed, subject to the approval of the art commission pursuant to section twenty of chapter six of the General Laws as to size and content, to install a plaque on each of the four corridors of the fourth floor of the main building of the state house. One plaque shall honor World War II veterans, one plaque shall honor Korean veterans, one plaque shall honor Vietnam veterans and one plaque shall honor veterans of all wars.

Said superintendent is hereby further authorized and directed to install in a suitable place on the fourth floor of the state house a plaque, to be provided and maintained by the Disabled American Veterans honoring former state representative and commissioner of veterans' services, Nathaniel M. Hurwitz.
