Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The city of Northampton is hereby authorized to convey a certain parcel of land located in said city, which was acquired for park purposes, to the Valley Community Development Corporation for such consideration as the city council of said city shall determine. Said city of Northampton shall maintain an easement in said parcel for the location and maintenance of a sanitary sewer. Said parcel is shown as Lot 1-A on a plan of land entitled, "Plan of Land for Valley Community Development Corporation", dated June 5, 1995, prepared by Hill Engineers, Architects, Planners.

SECTION 2. The Valley Community Development Corporation shall pay all costs of said conveyance, including, but not limited to preparation of plans and documents, recording fees, and tax stamps.
