Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The conservation commission of the town of Wayland is hereby authorized to transfer to the board of selectmen of said town the care, custody and control of the conservation restriction on 128.492 acres of land, more or less, granted to said town by deed from Devens H. Hamlen, Mortimer B. Zuckerman and Edward H. Linde, Trustees of Mainstone Associates Trust, and Devens H. Hamlen and James M. Hamlen as individuals, recorded with the Middlesex south registry of deeds in Book 15681 Page 60, for the purpose of releasing said conservation restriction in consideration of a substantially similar conservation restriction described in section two.
SECTION 2. The substantially similar conservation restriction referred to in section one to be conveyed to the town of Wayland is on file in the office of the town clerk of said town as part of the documentation for Article 41 of the warrant for the nineteen hundred and ninety-six annual town meeting of said town.
SECTION 3. The board of selectmen of the town of Wayland is hereby authorized to release the conservation restriction on the property to be transferred from the conservation commission of said town described in section one.
SECTION 4. The conservation commission of the town of Wayland is hereby authorized to change the use of all or part of the land within the conservation restriction described in section one.
