Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Nantucket county is hereby authorized to convey the following parcels of land to the town of Nantucket, exclusive of public ways and bike paths, which includes parcels of land which were acquired for conservation purposes, and are owned by said county:
(1) Smooth Hummocks, parcels shown on Nantucket Assessor's Map 82, Parcel 17.6 located in Smooth Hummocks, Share 8 described in a deed recorded at the Nantucket registry of deeds in Book 423, Page 171;
(2) 9 Dionis Beach Road, Nantucket Assessor's Map 32, Parcel 19, having a street address of 9 Dionis Beach Road, described in a deed recorded at the Nantucket registry of deeds in Book 434, Page 124;
(3) A street parcel shown as Parcel C, shown on a subdivision of land shown on Plan 3092 P, filed with Certificate of Title No. 1377, Nantucket registry district county;
(4) Shown on 23 Sesachacha Road, Nantucket Assessor's Map 0021, Parcel 0016, having a street address of 23 Sesachacha Road, described in a deed recorded at the Nantucket registry district for the land court as Document No. 069486 and filed with Certificate of Title No. 16,992;
(5) Shown as 18 Maine Avenue, Nantucket Assessor's Map 6031, Parcel 0427, having a street address of 18 Maine Avenue, described in a deed recorded at the Nantucket registry district for the land court as Document No. 070116, and filed with Certificate of Title No. 17,086; and
(6) Shown as 139 Eel Point Road, Nantucket Assessor's Map 33, Parcel 10, having a street address of 139 Eel Point Road, described in a deed recorded at the Nantucket registry district for the land court as Document No. 070478, and filed with Certificate of Title No. 17,131.
SECTION 2. The provisions of chapter thirty B of the General Laws and any rights of first refusal in the commonwealth under the provisions of section fourteen of chapter thirty-four of the General Laws shall not be applicable to any conveyance authorized by this act.
SECTION 3. A majority of the voters at an annual or special town meeting shall approve any and all transfers authorized hereby, prior to such conveyance taking effect.
SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
