Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section forty-four F of chapter forty of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Carver, Marion, Wareham Regional Refuse Disposal District is hereby authorized to purchase land in the town of Rochester for the purposes of the district and to construct thereon and equip a refuse disposal facility and to enter into contracts necessary therefor.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
