Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section seventeen of chapter one hundred and thirty-eight of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Abington is hereby authorized to issue to Raymond G. Alongi, President, Gina's Fine Foods Inc., d/b/a Casa Regina Restaurant, a license to sell all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises under the provisions of section twelve of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight. Said license shall be subject to all of the provisions of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight except said section seventeen.

SECTION 2. All actions taken by the licensing authority of the town of Abington at a meeting held on February twelfth, nineteen hundred and ninety-six issuing a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on the premises to Raymond G. Alongi d/b/a Casa Regina Restaurant are hereby ratified, validated, and confirmed in all respects as though this act had been in full force and effect at the time of said meeting.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
