Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Paragraph E of the third paragraph of section 7 of chapter 756 of the acts of 1985 is hereby amended by inserting after the word "act", in line 8, the following words:- , and a district tax collector.

SECTION 2. Said paragraph E of said third paragraph of said section 7 of said chapter 756 is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "superintendent", in line 9, the following words:- , the district tax collector.

SECTION 3. The last paragraph of section 13 of said chapter 756 is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following two sentences:- The assessors of both towns shall without further vote, assess such amounts upon the lands of the proprietors within the district and commit to the collector of taxes of the district, who thereupon shall, in the collection of such accounts, have the power to use the remedies enumerated in chapter sixty of the General Laws for the collection of taxes. All bills for accounts due the district shall state that all checks, drafts or money orders shall be made payable to the order of the Lake Buel Restoration Preservation District.
