CHAPTER 463 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE BOSTON REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO WITHDRAW CERTAIN PARCELS OF REGISTERED LAND FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF LAND COURT REGISTRATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section two of chapter four hundred and forty-five of the acts of nineteen hundred and seventy-eight or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Boston Redevelopment Authority and the registered owners of parcels of land described in certificate number 109255 are hereby authorized to file a petition with the land court to withdraw said parcels from the provisions of chapter one hundred and eighty-five of the General Laws; provided, however, that said Boston Redevelopment Authority determines by majority vote of its members that such withdrawal serves the public interest and convenience. Such determination shall be sufficient ground for allowing such withdrawal. The land court shall render its decision on the petition within thirty days after the filing of said petition.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
