Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary and for the purpose of promoting the public good, the city of Quincy is hereby authorized and directed to pay to the surviving spouse of Robert D. Hurley, a firefighter of the fire department of said city of Quincy, an accidental death benefit as provided under the provisions of section nine of chapter thirty-two of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
