CHAPTER 96 AN ACT FURTHER REGULATING THE APPOINTMENT OF INSPECTORS OF BUILDINGS, BUILDING COMMISSIONERS AND LOCAL INSPECTORS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Section 3 of chapter 143 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1994 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "design", in lines 35 and 47, in each instance, the following words:- or any combination of education and experience which would confer equivalent knowledge and ability, as determined by the board.
