Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the city of Worcester may, by ordinance, delegate to the Worcester license commission the authority to grant the local approval of beano license applications provided for in section 38 of chapter 10 of the General Laws.
