Whereas
, The deferred operation of this act would
tend to defeat its purpose, which is forthwith to
establish a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the Norfolk
county sheriff's office,
therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law,
necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public convenience.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law, rule or
regulation to the contrary, the Norfolk county sheriff's office
shall establish a sick leave bank for Mary Ellen
Mastrorilli, an employee of the sheriff's office. Any employee
of the sheriff's office may voluntarily contribute one or more of his sick,
personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Mary Ellen
Mastrorilli.
