Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The town of Chilmark, acting by and through its board of
selectmen, may erect and maintain a radio tower with
shielded obstruction light attached, radio shed and appurtenances thereto, for
noncommercial, public safety purposes only, on a certain parcel of land located
in the town which was acquired for conservation purposes. The land is known
as Peaked Hill.
SECTION 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
