Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The position of auditor in the city of Haverhill shall not
be subject to chapter 31 of the General Laws.
SECTION 2.
Section 1 shall not impair the civil service status of
the person holding, on a permanent basis, the position of auditor in the city
of Haverhill
on the effective date of this act.
SECTION 3.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
