Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 3 of chapter 40 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Florida may lease 2 parcels of land to New England Wind, LLC for the purpose of developing and maintaining a wind farm, for a term not to exceed 40 years. The parcels are identified as assessors Map 6, lot 4 and assessors Map 4, lot 11.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
