Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 1 of chapter 327 of the acts of 1957 is hereby further amended by striking out the word “fourth”, inserted by section 1 of chapter 173 of the acts of 1959, and inserting in place thereof the following word:- sixth.

SECTION 2. The order in which names of candidates appears on election ballots for any municipal office shall be determined by a drawing by lot.
