AN ACT RELATIVE TO REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL IN CERTAIN CITIES.
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purposes, which is to regulate reporting requirements for candidates for the office of mayor and city council in certain cities, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
Section 19 of chapter 55 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2016 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 7, the figure “75,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 65,000.
