AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF FALMOUTH AS THE KEVIN P. QUINN MEMORIAL BRIDGE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Bridge number F03001-47N-DOT-NB1 located on state highway route 28 in the town of Falmouth shall be designated and known as the Kevin P. Quinn memorial bridge in memory of Kevin P. Quinn of the town of Mashpee, who honorably served 2 tours of duty in Afghanistan with the United States Marine Corps. Kevin P. Quinn was killed on July 28, 2018 in a vehicle collision while traveling home after visiting his wife and newborn daughter at Cape Cod hospital.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
