The committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred the Senate establishing a sick leave bank for Alexis Baez, an employee of the Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital (Senate, No. 2386),- reports, recommending that the same ought to pass with an amendment substituting a new draft entitled “An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Alexis Baez, an employee of the Department of Mental Health” (Senate, No. 2394).

Emergency Preamble

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of this state hospital, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
