AN ACT VALIDATING THE ACTIONS TAKEN AT THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION IN THE TOWN OF WAREHAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 41 of the General Laws or any other general or special law or town charter provision to the contrary, the acts and proceedings taken by the town of Wareham at the April 3, 2012 annual town election, and all actions taken pursuant thereto, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if the office of selectman had been timely placed on the ballot as provided by law.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.Approved, May 10, 2012.
