AN ACT MAINTAINING SHORT-TERM OBJECTIVES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
The sixth paragraph of section 3 of chapter 71B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- A child's Individualized Education Program, as defined in 20 USC § 1401 (14), shall include a statement of measurable annual goals, including academic and functional goals, and a description of benchmarks or short-term objectives.
