AN ACT VALIDATING THE RESULTS OF A CERTAIN TOWN ELECTION IN THE TOWN OF GROVELAND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 10 of chapter 39 of the General Laws, sections 41, 42 and 64 of chapter 54 of the General Laws, chapter 184 of the acts of 2013 or any other general or special law or town by-law to the contrary, the votes taken by the town of Groveland at its May 4, 2015 annual town election, and all actions taken pursuant thereto and in reliance thereon, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if the town had complied with all statutory requirements for completion of nomination papers, preparation of ballots and posting the warrant for the election.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
