AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN OVERPASS IN THE CITY OF FALL RIVER AS THE PATROLMAN EDWARD JOAQUIN MEMORIAL OVERPASS

      Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
      The overpass on state highway route 138 spanning state highway route 79 in the city of Fall River, bridge number F-02-097(AG2), shall be designated and known as the Patrolman Edward Joaquin Memorial Overpass, in honor and recognition of Patrolman Edward Joaquin for his service during World War II. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
