AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE ISSUANCE OF CERTAIN BONDS BY THE TOWN OF PEMBROKE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding clause (1) of section 7 of chapter 44 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Pembroke may borrow the $820,000 authorized for the construction of a sidewalk on Hobomock street from Learning lane to Center street in the town by a vote of the town passed under Article 12 of the warrant for the May 10, 2016 annual town meeting pursuant to said clause (1) of said section 7 of said chapter 44 for a term of 20 years, exclusive of the term of any temporary notes issued in anticipation of that authorization.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
