AN ACT FURTHER REGULATING THE MASSACHUSETTS PORT AUTHORITY COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

Section 36 of chapter 465 of the acts of 1956 is hereby amended by striking out subsection (i), as appearing in section 55 of chapter 46 of the acts of 2013, and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:- 

(i) The Massachusetts Port Authority Community Advisory Committee may incur expenses, to be paid by the authority, as follows:

(i) from January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018, not more than $250,000;

(ii) from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, not more than $300,000;

(iii) from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, not more than $350,000;

(iv) from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, not more than $400,000;

(v) from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, not more than $450,000;

(vi) from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023, not more than $500,000; and

(vii) for each fiscal year thereafter, not more than $500,000.

The payments shall be for annual expenses incurred in the performance of the Massachusetts Port Authority Community Advisory Committee’s duties and obligations under subsections (e) and (g) and for personnel under subsection (h). All expenses of the Massachusetts Port Authority Community Advisory Committee shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the authority .
