AN ACT RELATIVE TO FEES ASSESSED BY THE DRACUT WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 433 of the acts of 1905 is hereby amended by striking out section 9B, inserted by section 2 of chapter 850 of the acts of 1975, and inserting in place thereof the following section:-
Section 9B. Whenever a connection is made, either directly or indirectly, to a water main supplied by the district, a system development fee shall be assessed. The amount of the system development fee shall be established by the board of water commissioners. The board of water commissioners may establish rules and regulations regarding the assessment or application of the system development fee.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
