The 193rd General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE SOUTH GRAFTON SECTION OF THE TOWN OF GRAFTON AS THE VETERANS MEMORIAL BRIDGE.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to designate forthwith a certain bridge in the South Grafton section of the town of Grafton, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Bridge number G-08-009 on state highway route 122A in the South Grafton section of the town of Grafton, crossing over the Blackstone river near Mill Villages park, shall be designated and known as the Veterans Memorial Bridge, in honor of all who have served. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers on the bridge bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.

Approved, November 7, 2019.
