AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF GLOUCESTER TO DESIGNATE CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR PARK AND CONSERVATION PURPOSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  (a) Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the city of Gloucester may designate and preserve certain land owned by the city and duly recorded in book 3437 page 143 and in the southern Essex registry of deeds and located on the city’s assessor’s map 99, lots 30 and 31 as number 5 Shore Hills road for conservation and recreation purposes pursuant to a vote taken by the city council of the city on August 13, 2019.

(b)  The city of Gloucester may execute and deliver a certificate referencing the passage of this act along with a copy of the act to the southern Essex registry of deeds and the southern Essex registry of deeds shall accept the certificate for recording and make marginal reference thereto upon the record of all applicable deeds for said lands.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
