An Act relative to co-payments and deductibles for chronic diseases..

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

Chapter 58, Section 84 of the Session Laws of 2006 shall be amended by adding the following new section:

“(e)   Notwithstanding any General or Special Law no carrier shall be permitted to charge a co-payment or deductible for any prescriptions or devices that are prescribed by a physician that are necessary for the treatment or maintenance of a chronic disease, illness or condition.”
