An Act relative to concealing controlled substances in an automobile..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 94C of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding the following new section:-
Section 32 L. Any person who knowingly or intentionally conceals a controlled substance in a sealed hidden compartment within an automobile shall be punished by a term of imprisonment in a state prison for no less than 2 ½ nor more than 15 years and by a fine of no less than $1000 and up to $10,000 dollars. No sentence imposed under the provisions of this section shall be for less than a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 2 years. In accordance with the provisions of section 8A of chapter 279, said sentence shall begin from and after the expiration of the sentence for a violation of sections 32, 32A-G and 32I-K.
