An Act relative to the garnishment of wages for child support and alimony..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 246 of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 20A the following new section: -
Section 20B. Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty A, any person who has received a judgment for child support or alimony from a state which borders the commonwealth and also has received an order from a court of such state for the garnishment of wages to satisfy such judgment shall be entitled to have such order honored by an employer in the commonwealth without any further order from a court of the commonwealth.
